Movie Time

Kohen's movie experiences have been as followed:

-3 months: went with my family to the movies. Kohen had a blow out (I was wearing white capris and forgot a change of clothes for him)
-5 months: went to the movies again with my family. Kohen wasn't interested (don't blame him) So we spent the whole movie playing on the car arcade game in the hall. He loved that at least!

-18 months: We decided to try out the dollar theater for a family activity. Truthfully Kohen did way better than I did. He was totally content with some good n plentys. I however am just too dang ansy to sit for a movie anymore. I get bored and restless. It didn't help that it was Alvin and the Chipmunks. But luckily Kohen had fun so it was a success!

Ignore this special picture of me. I am convinced Stuart doesn't even look at the camera screen after when I ask him if it turned out ok. But since we only had two whopping pictures up it goes.

Gloom gloom go away

How cute are they all matching?!
Kohen (who can say hat) kept calling his hat "dad"
I think because he knew he was wearing one just like Dad.

The weather has been kind of gloomy a lot it seems like and so when we saw the sun was out we hurried and packed a picnic lunch/dinner and headed out as soon as Kohen woke up from his nap. Ironically, the sky became gloomy, the air was smoky and the wind picked up right as we stepped out of the car. But luckily we all happened to have brought jackets and so we bundled up and had our picnic anyways. Kohen kept us running like crazy and had so much fun. (Thus the hideous picture of me...I had just ran forever up and down a hill with little heavy load on me).

Valentine's Day

Valentine's day was low key but here is what we had for dinner/dessert.

Dessert was one of our favorite desserts- heart shaped brownies with whipped topping and strawberries

I had planned on making chicken cordon bleu but last minute saw I didn't have what I needed so
I made potatoes that were heart shaped

St. Patricks Day

Today we took a much needed little outing to the downtown Lewiston St. Patty's Day celebration.
It was small and we passed on some of the activities but we still made out with some loot.
Kohen was so patient and waited a half hour in line to get a balloon sword.
Stuart practically ran 5 blocks and back to an ATM to get a few bucks for some yummy kettle corn.
Later when we got home we got a phone call saying I had won the jelly bean guessing contest.
The ironic thing was that just yesterday I was interested in finding out if there was a way to guess how much candy is in a jar by using physics. Needless to say I was very proud of myself.
Maybe it was just my lucky day.
Since it came with a gift certificate we got to go out to eat tonight too!
