Rupp Family Reunion (Part 2)

Part 2
Water Park

I wish I had gotten more pictures but Kohen LOVES water. This kid is fearless (scary).
We took him to the kiddy pool that has fountains and slides. He marches (practically runs) and is yelling. He would run through the fountains over and over even though I'm sure he had to have gotten water up his nose and was drenched. Then there was the lazy river that Kohen insisted we go around and around and around in. I couldn't help but sing "This is the river that never ends..." He'd have spurts of uncontrollable excitement that caused him to burst out in splashing frenzies. Did I mention he loves water?

( Notice Kohen be-lined to the stairs in the two seconds I took the picture)

Of course, even at a water park he finds rocks.

Rupp Family Reunion (Part 1)

Stuart's immediate family had their first Rupp Reunion in Utah this summer. It was a little adventure getting there (car broke down) but it couldn't have been better timing. Stuart's brother's/family was near by and with a little switching around we were on our way.
Here's a brief summary of our week.

Monday: Headed to Boise (about half way)
Tuesday: Headed to UT and arrived that evening.
Had a bbq and Family Home Evening
Wednesday: Lagoon
Thursday: 7 Peaks water park
Volleyball tournament
Friday: Visited Temple Square
Played more volleyball
Talent Show
Saturday: Family pictures and goodbyes

PART 1: LAGOON
At the end and long gone
Kohen loved his little monkey backpack/lease
but most of the time he likes to give it hugs and make "ooh aah aah" sounds

We found a few little rides he could go on. On all three he was restless, bored, and ready to have a cow....until the ride began. Then he was a happy (and fearless) little boy!
It was funny because on this first ride us moms just thought it was a rocking ride....and all got a little worried/sick as it began spinning in circles.

Like I said...having a cow while waiting

For as much action as it was he hung in there pretty well

Happy Father's Day! (A little late)

Happy (late) Father's Day.....

To my Dad

...and my baby's daddy :)
Stuart was the first one to get to hold and bond with Kohen
since I was being stitched up and in recovery for a couple hours.
He was awesome and changed all of Kohen's diapers
while in the hospital (and still is great about doing it).
First of many snuggle pictures

Told ya!

First of many matching outfits

Stuart was getting ready to leave for work and so I told Kohen to say bye bye to Daddy
and he just ran up to Stuart and hugged him like this.

Don't know how many times Stuart was supposed to put Kohen down and I'd see this...
BUT I can't blame him. Kohen is the cutest little snuggler!

Kohen LOVES his Dad! Other than when really upset or hungry, Dad is his favorite!
They have so much fun together and it makes me so happy to watch!

So what better gift for Father's Day than a ....TIE! :)

(Story: We had practiced having Kohen slap his hand down on the tie...making sure it'd fit...but of course when we put the paint on Kohen's hand all he could do was squish and play with the slimy stuff. Then when it came time to slap that hand down, he decided to grab the tie and squeeze it in his cute little fist. We couldn't help but laugh at our silly hope to have a perfect hand print from a 10 month old but hey, it has character now right?!)
